I help women in midlife to build a strong and nurturing relationship with themselves, unlocking improved mood, self-esteem, overall health, and decision-making capabilities, while fostering a sense of belonging and reducing emotional isolation and loneliness during life’s transitions.

Hi, I’m Stacy!

Welcome to my life-line.

I am a Licensed Psychotherapist and Inner Transformation Life Coach. I have always had a passion for helping others.

My name is Stacy Ramsey, and I completed my undergraduate degree with a Bachelors in Education at John Brown University in 1992. In 2015, I achieved my dream of completing my Masters of Arts in Counseling at Le Tourneau University. My experiences range from volunteer work at Lena Pope, Behavioral Health and Family Services, and The Right Step working with addiction recovery at every level of care; from Residential, Partial Hospitalization to Intensive Outpatient. The last several years I have used my eclectic experiences in private practice at Life Tree Counseling Center. I am currently continuing my work at Building  Harmony Counseling. Stacy Anne Coaching, LLC is my newest leap in life and my own personal growth; I am pressing into all the new transitions life has to offer!

Transitions are the opportunities that connect us to the next chapter in our lives, and the  pathways into new beginnings. Life is full of them. Some will appear when we are in  crisis and others surface during a season of peace and security. Transitions span the entire gamut of emotion and challenge us to answer the question, “who am I”.

My story is full of transitions, some wonderfully welcomed and others that have brought me to my knees. In each, I learned something about myself that has made managing the next season a bit clearer and offered insight into things I never understood before.  Often we fail to realize that while change can be a little scary, or painful, or both, it’s normal. In fact, it’s the only thing that fosters growth. It wasn’t always a natural thing for me to do, in fact I’m still learning. I had to realize first that change is normal and spurs  us to re-access our internal values or belief system, inspires growth, and transitions us into the next chapter of  our lives.

My greatest joy is cultivating anticipation in transition, to foster growth and find or renew individual values system. In every season of life there lies the opportunity to learn and adapt as new insight into ‘self’ is emerges. Life gets in the way with distractions, hardships, and burnout that hinder motivation to move forward. I look forward to walking with each client to define their personal identity, empower them to build a greater understanding of who they are and craft with intention, exactly who they wish to become. Creating new ways to cope and manage emotions is the key to finding balance within ourselves. There is freedom to be found in tapping into your story with a sense of curiosity that evokes greater understanding, clarity, and confidence.

“Life is, at it’s very simplest,
a never-ending series of transitions,
each having its own magical effect on the sum
of all transitions we have yet to experience!”
-Stacy-

The journey to define myself has been life long, and marked with hidden and unshed tears.  I have always been a good student and I mastered the messages of the surrounding influences in how to be perceived as a good daughter, a good sister, a good friend, a good mother and a good wife. Each of these goals are excellent, but left me parceled and incongruent.  I did not understand how STACY was to strive to be HER best version of herself in each of these roles that collectively created ME. I had no idea who I truly was and did not understand the vital importance of taking care of myself.

Consequently, I became fascinated with the concepts surrounding life’s patterns of transition.  The subtle impact of moving from one season of life into another, changes who we are, how we perceive ourselves, and how we perceive those around us.  These experiences either forge strong bonds of trust, or destroy them. We gather assumptions and directives that become our internal belief systems that become our foundation for making decisions that influence our intimate relationships.

I do not have all the answers, but I do believe I have found a solution that allows you to cultivate becoming the person you desire to be, with consistency and confidence. The key is identifying who you long to be and how you want to show up in your life.  That is where I have learned to become an expert, but it requires YOU to be willing to do the work. Are you ready? You do not have to do this alone. I would love the opportunity of walking beside you and building with you a community of other like-minded women to support and encourage you.
